Ingredients:

  • Oil- 2tbsps
  • Onion- 1 finely chopped
  • Capsicum- ½ finely chopped
  • Fresh paneer (crumbled roughly) – 200 gms
  • Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
  • Tomato- 1, finely chopped
  • Green chilli- 2
  • Garam masala powder- ¼ tsp
  • Red chilli powder- ½ tsp
  • Dry roasted cumin powder- ½ tsp
  • Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves finely chopped- 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice- 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

    1. In a kadai, heat oil and sauté the onions on medium flame till they turn a translucent pink.
    2. Add capsicum and fry for 2-3 minutes
    3. Add ginger garlic paste to this and fry for 2-3 minutes.
    4. Now add the tomatoes and cook this till there is no raw smell left of the tomatoes.
    5. Now add the garam masala, chili powder, cumin powder, turmeric, salt, and green chilies.
    6. Cook this till a wonderful aroma comes out of the kadai.
    7. Now add the crumbled paneer and mix well.
    8. Make sure you coat the paneer with the masala. Fry this for another 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
    9. Turn off the Flame and Garnish with coriander leaves and lemon juice.

  • Fresh paneer enhances the flavor and taste of the dish.
  • Crumbled paneer must be in chunky pieces similar to egg Bhurji.
